Father, in JESUS' name, I embrace the truth of YOUR Word and I commit to change whatever needs to be changed in my life in order to bring into captivity every thought into the obedience of CHRIST. I am a mighty man of valor and my wife is a virtuous woman. I have found your pattern for me in YOUR SON JESUS. I set my heart to love my wife as He loves HIS church. The light of YOUR Word shines on my path. I love my wife as Christ loves the Church and give myself for her. My heart safely trusts my wife. She is good for me. She is good to me. I place a high value on her preciousness to me. As her husband, I am spiritually focused, emotionally strong, intellectually capable, domestically balanced, economically sharp, and have unquestionable character. I commit to make restitution for any damage I have caused my wife through deep rooted misguided expectations. I help her develop as a person, and let her help me. I shine on her as the sun shines on the earth. I am the rule of her life to bring her warmth, nurture, protection and security. Because of the joy it will bring to both of us, I gladly drink of the cup that was prepared before we married. I will gladly bear the cross of our relationship, allowing my wife to be herself.
